About our Vision

Through all our varied efforts, we seek to make our planet a better place with greater respect for the feminine, for the human body and for the earth. Our goal is to enable as many humans as possible to become "world souls," by which we mean: "knowledgeably embracing all the traditions of the world in the deepest place of the heart."

About the meaning of Guha

Guha is an ancient Sanskrit term for that secret place in the heart, which the Upanisads describe as: "smaller than the smallest yet greater than the vastest spaces." It is that mysterious place in which we find our true self and in which we discover ourselves in the Divine. All our work is centered in this guha.

About Guha Soulworks LLC

Guha Soulworks, the name we have chosen for our company, is dedicated to bringing you quality events, services and products—books, CD's and, eventually, videos and DVDs. We offer events (workshops, retreats and pilgrimages) based on the resources we've created, which are all innovative spiritual responses to our rapidly changing world situation. All of our works help nurture and refine our inner space, our guha, so that we can enjoy the best of health through a balanced and well nourished spiritual life and help create a better world through the refining of our own consciousness.

About The Yoga of Sound

Our methodology and practice is based on The Yoga of Sound, a term that brings together thousands of years of rich tradition grounded in yoga, music, mantra and meditation. We are open to all the traditions of the world, but specialize in the mantric traditions of yoga. We also dialog between Hinduism and Christianity, which evidently includes Buddhism and Judaism to a degree. This multi-cultural platform serves to heal our differences and create harmony between East and the West, balancing masculine and the feminine approaches to spiritual practice, and unifying rational scientific thinking with the sensory spiritual experience.

About our Products

The purpose behind all our products is to improve the quality of our lives and to enhance our health through the deepening and expansion of spiritual awareness and consciousness. The power of chant and music, particularly within the context of yoga and meditation, is the future of a fulfilling lifestyle, no matter what tradition or traditions we adhere to at our core.

About our Events

Through our workshops and retreats, concerts and lectures, we try to improve on the efficacy and effectiveness of our products in a personal manner. This is achieved through direct interactions: person to person, body to body, soul to soul, spirit to spirit.

About our Pilgrimage

Each year, we take with us, a group of spiritual seekers deep into the heart of Southern India, our spiritual motherland. Here, we engage in a chanting pilgrimage and meditation retreat in some of the most sacred spaces that have touched our lives and our hearts. This is, without any doubt, one of the most life-transforming process we can offer anyone.
