SOUND AND MUSIC SCHOOL: I am honored to be on the faculty of New York Open Center’s Sound and Music School, an 11-Month, 150 Hour Professional Training Program. This unique training emphasizes a holistic and intercultural approach to sound and music healing, drawing from a broad range of contemporary and indigenous healing systems. This training is appropriate for all levels of participation—for individuals seeking insights into personal mastery as well as therapists seeking time-tested healing tools.
Join us on our eleventh chanting pilgrimage and retreat in South India, “Journey to Find the Other Half of the Soul”. We will be adding a special weeklong extension retreat titled, “Journey into Transformative Silence” and a trip to the sacred mountain of Arunachala after the main pilgrimage is complete. This will be in the first week of February 2009.
