Experience ecstasy through the chanting of devotional mantras
This album, the third part of the Yoga of Sound 3-CD set, is available here as a single. It deals with Bhakti mantras that awaken love and devotion in the heart. Bhava Yoga is ideal for evening practice as it helps us unwind after a busy day and prepare the heart for sacred relationships.
THE 20-PAGE BOOKLET: The information booklet that comes with the CD begins with a general overview on the Yoga of Sound, which is followed by an understanding of this specific stream of sound yoga, Bhava Yoga. After this, detailed information is provided for each track.
THE MANTRAS: All of the mantras are written out for you with the exception of the Sanskrit invocation in Track 1 and a short section in Track 2, which is a devotional song by South Indian composer Narayana Teertar, positionedto accentuate the feeling of devotion in the track. All the other mantras on this album are is provided so that you could sing along. This is the most musical of the three streams of sound yoga. Each variation of each chant is sung twice so that you could listen, learn, and then sing along with the track. Once you become familiar with the tunes, you can chant conatinuously.
