"RECOVER THE HOLINESS"

Dear friends:
Coming up next, on Halloween weekend, is RHYTHM OF YOUR SOUL, a nothing less than extraordinary weekend of chanting with me and my dear brothers in sacred sound, Ajay and Pankaj Sharma. You really do not want to miss this spiritually rich and culturally extravagant weekend for a number of reasons:
1) SACRED VENUE HARI OM MANDIR: The entire event takes place in a beautiful family temple, Hari Om Mandir, situated in a tranquil setting in rural Pennsylvania. The temple houses consecrated images of Divinity maintained with traditional worship services so the venue has awesome spiritual energy. There is no better environment to chant and feel directly connected to the object of our devotions.
2) ALL HALLOWS EVE KIRTAN: A number of first-rate Indian devotional musicians will be accompanying me with Indian instruments traditionally used for chanting and kirtan. We start the weekend with a Kirtan Concert on Friday October 31. This special night preceding All Hallows day (November 1st) has been considered for centuries as one of the most magical nights of the year. It is a night of power when the veil that separates our world from the Otherworld is at its thinnest.
3) ALL HALLOWS DAY CHANT WORKSHOP: November 1st is the main day of our chant workshop, a day when traditionally our ancestors are honored. In addition to lots of chanting, we will also learn how to connect to our ancestors, the rishis of India, who are the spiritual channels through whom all that we enjoy in yoga and meditation and Indian spirituality have come to us. We will learn how to utilize the principles of sonic mysticism—a powerful & ancient spiritual system—to heal, rejuvenate and elevate your being to another level.
4) FESTIVAL OF LIGHT CELEBRATION: This is also the weekend during which the local Indian community is celebrating Diwali, the Indian Festival of Light that is comparable to Christmas and Hanukah and Kwanza. Those who wish to experience a variety show of Indian dance and music as well as Indian food and snacks can go into town on Saturday evening for a special community event also organized by Hari Om Mandier. 5) SUNDAY BONUS KIRTAN CELEBRATION: Our weekend culminates in the Mandir’s the monthly kirtan celebration for the local community. On Sunday afternoon, after our chant retreat is over, (at 1:30 pm), those who wish to participate in a traditional kirtan celebration are welcome to stay on and be part of it from 3 pm to 6 pm.
For all these reasons, and also considering that I will not be offering another workshop in the U.S. that is open to the public until April next year, you may not want to miss this one.
