I am being joined by a large group of fabulous musicians to offer a benefit concert at the Mind, Body, Spirit Expo at the Valley Forge Convention Center in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania this Saturday. HALLOWEEN WEEKEND, CONCERT AND WORKSHOP, DOWNINGTOWN, PA
The following weekend, I will be at my favorite location in the US, the Hari Om Mandir in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. This place is special because I am at so much at home here (pun intended) with my brother Ajay and Panjak Sharma and their extraordinary family whose ecstasy and devotion are so infectious that everyone who shows up is beaming from ear to ear all or most of the time. This is a very intimate setting, this temple with its beautiful life-sized, consecrated statues of Radha and Krishna and Ram, Sita and Lakshman. NOVEMBER 13 AND 14: SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN
Next month, on November 13, I offer a concert at the Northwest Unitarian Universalist Church in Southfield, Michigan, followed by a day of meditation and reflection on sacred texts and mantras.
If you live in the Detroit area or if you have friends or family in that area, please be so kind as to pass on the word about this special event. We will be meditating on the Upanisads, the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita together with chanting, sacred movement and meditation. It will be a day of spiritual rejuvenation, recollection and gratitude.
