We recently returned from India, a truly wonderful trip that I will tell you about in another email. I am getting ready to leave for the Bahamas this weekend, to be part of On the Wings of Ecstasy: An Interfaith Devotional Singing Festival at the Sivananda Yoga Retreat in Nassau. I am looking forward to meeting and sharing sacred space with the wonderful line up of artists scheduled for this event. There is still time if you can manage a quick getaway. Airfares, especially from the Florida cities I understand can be astoundingly low and it is a wonderful time of the year to be in the Bahamas. The inimitable Ajay and Panjkay Sharma will be presenting more than one kirtan together with me during the festival and it will be a happy reunion as we were there together in December, for Christmas, and had a blast.

APRIL 2 - 4, EASTER RETREAT AT KRIPALU: This email is also to let you know that my annual Easter workshop at Kripalu is coming up in a couple of weeks. Spaces are still available for this retreat if you are interested. I feel very passionate about this topic and have been preparing a lot for the weekend as it is based on my recent book Jesus in the Lotus, which, incidentally, is in its second print already. It is wonderful to receive emails from people who have read the book and have connected deeply to its message. I have, myself, been doing a lot of reading and reflecting on this topic, especially after the pilgrimage in India, and I am convinced now that Hindu-Christian dialog is crucial to world peace and harmony, not to mention its value in the development of a healthy US – India partnership.
