Healing waters

Our first stop in India is at a gorgeous seaside resort, a location meant to serve as a place of rest and restoration. The healing presence of the ocean embraces us with the soothing sounds of its waters and subtly whispers mystic syllables into our souls, welcoming us to this sacred land.

Before we begin our pilgrimage, we enjoy a period of quiet orientation while adjusting to the climate and culture of India. Rich in cultural decor this beach resort serves delicious gourmet meals and introduces to South Indian hospitality through the charm of its decor.

The beach, the swimming pool at the facility and the comfortable accommodations help us adjust effortlessly to the new culture. Sunrise is a truly unforgettable experience and many find walking the shoreline in the predawn hour delightful. An added bonus is meditating as a group on the beach at sunset.

You have plenty of space and time to decompress but we also meet several times to orient you with trips to the village, meeting our gypsy friends, checking out local arts and crafts, exploring classic stone monuments in the area, and discussing the history of this deeply religious culture.
|
|
This is also a time to give thanks for a long journey courageously undertaken and to appreciate the gift of seeing the world with new eyes. Kick back, relax and unwind. You are in good hands. We understand what you are going through every step of the way and do everything we can to create a safe space for you to absorb it all.
